  • Registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI 1860.
  • Registered under Section 12A and Section 80G of Income Tax Act 1961 for Tax relief.
  • Working in 23 States of India mostly in rural, Backward and slum areas.
  • Organized 1395 eye camps during last 15 years of its inception.
  • Screened 4,50,969 patients suffering from eye-ailments
  • Provided Medicine to 2,13,568 patients
  • Provided spectacles to 2,56,497 patients suffering from low-vision
  • 91,379 patients were identified for cataract operations
  • 74,059 patients were successfully operated for cataract.
  • No. of states covered are 23 in 195 districts.
  • All services provided FREE to the poor and needy.
  • Had been working with the support of prestigious organizations like ONGC, SAIL, Coal India, IOC, OIL, GAIL, EIL, HPCL, BPCL, Petronet LNG, STC,  PEC, NTPC , Sitaram Jindal Foundation and State Govt. of Assam, M.P., U.P., Bihar etc.
  • Member of Vision 2020 an initiative of WHO for Right to Sight.
  • Registered in USA and Federal Government of USA has given tax exemption to American citizens for giving donation to Anugraha Drishtidaan.
  • Ministry of Home Affairs Govt. of India granted FCRA to raise funds from overseas.
  • Associated with 78 major eye hospitals in India.

Our Mission
Anugraha Drishtidaan’s mission is to provide quality and affordable services both preventive and curative to public suffering from eye ailments and make sincere efforts to sensitize all concerned to participate and contribute in eliminating avoidable blindness with special care to poor, neglected, women and children.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Our focus had been the rural, tribal, backward and remote areas to give benefits to villagers, women, children and old persons and those living below poverty line.
  • We had been working in 20 states of India which includes Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana , Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Kerala ,Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha , Nagaland, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand ,West Bengal, Pondicherry,  Delhi NCR
  • Our areas of operation include among others, Coal Mining, Iron ore Mining, NE and Tribal areas.
  • 42% beneficiaries include senior citizens in the age group of 60 years and above and about 48% women and children.
  •  4,500 operations done in NE states.
  • 4,000 cataract operations were done in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Odisha.
  • 4,200 cataract operation done in Gujarat & Maharashtra.
  • 1,700 operations done in Haryana, Rajasthan & Madhya Pradesh.
  • 1,500 operation done in Andhra Pradesh,Tamilnadu & Kerala.
  • 16,000 operations in backward areas of U.P. , Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh & Delhi NCR
